Energy Efficient Routing in mobile Ad Hoc network with Capacity Maximization

چکیده

A mobile ad hoc network is a collection of mobile nodes that are dynamically and arbitrarily located in such a manner that the interconnections between nodes are capable of changing on a continual basis. Mobile ad-hoc networks are the autonomous systems of mobile nodes forming network in the absence of any centralized support. Although establishing correct and efficient routes is an important design issue in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs), a more challenging goal is to provide energy efficient routes because mobile nodes’ operation time is the most critical limiting factor. In mobile ad hoc networks, energy-constrained operation is very important due to the limited battery capacity. One of the reasons for excessive energy expenditure in this network is irregularly distributed node patterns which impose large interference range on a certain area. In this paper, we present a simple and energy efficient on-demand routing scheme by using discrete level of power control and priority based packet scheduling.
